Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using Rocket Six you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we process and forms part of this agreement.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old, or older where the law in your country requires it, and you need a Rocket League account on Epic Games or Steam. You are responsible for complying with the terms of those platforms as well as ours.

3. Accounts

4. Use of the client

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to install and use the Rocket Six client for playing on the platform. You may not:

The client reads match telemetry from your own running copy of Rocket League in order to record the match — using Rocket Six means you agree to that.

5. Fair play

The whole point of the platform is matches that count. The following will cost you your access:

6. Voice chat and conduct

Voice chat is part of the match, not a private channel with strangers of your choosing. Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual harassment and racist, sexist or otherwise discriminatory abuse are not tolerated — in voice, in text or in a name. We do not record voice, so reports are handled on the evidence available to us, and repeated reports about the same account carry weight.

7. Rating, progression and rewards

Rating, levels, XP, quests, achievements and cosmetic rewards are calculated on our servers and exist only inside Rocket Six. They are not property, they have no monetary value, they cannot be sold or transferred, and they can be corrected, reset or removed — for example when a match is reversed after a dispute, when a rule turns out to be exploitable, or when a season ends.

8. Your content

You keep what is yours. By posting a name, an organization name, a logo or any other content into Rocket Six, you grant us the right to display it inside the service to the players who need to see it, and you confirm that you are allowed to use it. We may remove content that infringes rights or breaks these terms.

9. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access if you break these terms or if your behaviour puts the platform or its players at risk. Where it is reasonable we will say why. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.

10. Availability, beta status and warranty

Rocket Six is a free service under active development and is currently in beta. It is provided as is: we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any particular feature will stay available. Matches, ratings and progression may be affected by maintenance, bugs or a change to Rocket League itself.

11. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are only liable where an obligation essential to this agreement has been breached, and then only up to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of agreement. Liability under mandatory product liability law is unaffected. Any further liability is excluded.

12. Trademarks and third parties

Rocket Six is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Psyonix, Epic Games or Valve. Rocket League is a trademark of Psyonix LLC; Epic Games, Epic Account Services and Steam are trademarks of their respective owners. All names are used descriptively.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when the product changes. The date at the top says when they were last revised, and continued use after a change means you accept the new version.

14. Governing law

German law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protection of the country you live in. Where a place of jurisdiction may lawfully be agreed, it is our registered seat.
