Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Rocket Six is a desktop application for organising Rocket League Six Mans matches, together with the servers that run matchmaking, statistics and voice chat. This policy explains what personal data the application and this website process, on what basis, and how you can have it removed.

Controller for the purposes of the GDPR and questions about this policy: info@rocket-six.com.

2. What we process

2.1 Your account

Rocket Six has no passwords and no email sign-up. You sign in with the platform account you already play on:

From that we create a Rocket Six account: an internal player ID, the display name and avatar shown to other players, and the platform ID your matches are matched against.

2.2 Match data

The client reads live telemetry from your own running copy of Rocket League, on your own machine, over a local connection. From a finished match it derives per-player values such as goals, assists, saves, shots, demolitions, aerials, boost usage, speed, time on the ball and the final result, and uploads that record for the match you played to our servers.

It is read only while you are in a Six Mans match started through Rocket Six. The client does not read your files, your other games, your chat or anything else on your computer.

2.3 Progression

Level, XP, quests and achievements are calculated on the server from those match records — never on your machine. That means we store your progress values and when each quest or achievement was completed and claimed.

2.4 Rating, matches and organizations

We store your rating, your match history inside Rocket Six, queue and party membership, results confirmations and disputes, and — if you join one — your organization membership and role.

2.5 Voice chat

Voice runs over WebRTC. A signalling server exchanges the connection details between the players in a lobby, and the audio itself travels directly between clients where the network allows it, or through a relay server when it does not. Voice is not recorded, not transcribed and not stored. Only the technical data needed to establish the connection — such as IP addresses and session identifiers — is processed, and only for the duration of the call.

2.6 Technical data

Our servers and our hosting provider process the usual connection data: IP address, timestamp, the request made, error and diagnostic logs, and the client version. This is needed to deliver the service and to detect abuse.

2.7 On your own device

The client stores your session token in the operating system's secure storage, plus your settings — language, audio devices, overlay position, hotkeys and appearance — and local diagnostic logs. You can remove all of it by signing out and uninstalling the application.

2.8 This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and does not track visitors. It does load two third-party resources, which means your IP address and browser information reach those providers when a page is opened: the web fonts from Google Fonts, and the animation library from the jsDelivr CDN. The site works without either.

3. Why we process it, and on what basis

We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not profile you for anything other than the rating and progression the product is built around.

4. Who receives it

Some of these providers operate servers outside the EU. Transfers are covered by the mechanisms those providers offer, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

When you ask us to delete your account, we remove the account and the data tied to it. Match records that other players also took part in may be kept in an anonymised form so their own history stays intact.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Write to info@rocket-six.com and we will handle it without undue delay.

You can also disconnect Rocket Six from your platform account at any time in the Epic Games or Steam account settings.

7. Children

Rocket Six is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this page when the product changes. The date at the top always says when it was last revised.
